Advice on glass splashbacks please

We have a kitchen 30 ft x 15 ft. two thirds of it is working kitchen and one third, dining table (old pine though), old multiyork sofa (mostly occupied by the dogs) and very large SMEG bright red fridge/freezer (50/50 size). NOW we gave up on ready made units and had a local carpenter make ours and hand paint them for us - so lovely to have every little space used with custom made nooks and crannies and so on (and very little more than a Magnet price).
But though "finished" over a year ago we STILL havent decided on the colour for glass splashbacks. The units are painted grey/green (farrow and ball) - so we cant have green splashbacks but the red I favour would be too much of a contrast. What would people suggest? The compromise is either ivory type white (boring.......) or what about orange? Or any other suggestions please to go with green/grey painted units. Oh, there is also a large range cooker with a big curved glass hood over it and we will need to have the glass cut to shape for that.
Prices/suppliers and colour suggestions please before I have a third Christmas with no splashbacks
