JSA - what is the best thing to do?

Yesterday I received a letter from Reed. It said that whilst I don't have the Royal Mail job, I am a reserve and could I please still turn up on Thursday.
What do I do about JSA and signing off? (I know I just have to fill in a form and hand it in)
Also, if I do have this job, what happens with the 13 week review thing? I received a letter on Thursday, telling me I have an appointment on December 9th about this. Do I phone up and tell them to cancel this and that I now have a job, or would it come up on their system?

I wouldn't sign off until you're offered the job. But go along anyway, in the hope a successful applicant pulls out.
If you are successful just sign off as normal. They'll cancel the 13wk review appointment.I no longer contribute to the Benefits & Tax Credits forum.0 -
Congrats Sh!
As you don't have a job as yet i'd tell the job centre that it's a selection day (as that's probably what it is) if you have to sign that day and they will change it to another day for you. After thursday you'll have a better idea of what it is going on and can update them accordingly.0 -
Thank you. It's not my signing on day; so that's not an issue for me.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked
