Anyone had any dealings with this new on line car insurance company?
Only I've paid a deposit, been accepted for the insurance of my car, the monthly payment plan has been agreed but I've received no confirmation email from them or cover note, only it was this Wednesday just gone i took out insurance with them! and I've heard nothing back, i emailed them via their customer service section on their website and they replied with a non free phone number saying "phone this number and we'll be able to help"....i mean what's the point in having an on line service then redirecting somebody to phone you, crazy!! i shall of course phone them and get to the bottom of it all but like i say i just wondered if any of you had any dealings with this company.

I have had no direct experience of e-choice as it is a new setup, but RSA (Royal & Sun Alliance) is the second largest insurer in the UK, and actually own More Than on the consumer side of things. So the foundations of e-choice seem to be very much established."MIND IF I USE YOUR PHONE? IF WORD GETS OUT THATI'M MISSING FIVE HUNDRED GIRLS WILL KILL THEMSELVES."0

i have had unfortunate dealings with rsa echoice .
i bought a new car and changed my policy online.. the company accepted my money online and a message came up stating they had payment and my new documents would be in the post..
the documents never appeared,, i checked my policy online and i was still insured for the old car which i had scrapped, echoice had took the money out of the bank then refunded me the day after.. no one had contacted me regarding this and it turns out i wasnt insured for my new car at all ,, echoice wasnt aware that i was refunded and that i wasnt insured for my new car.
if i hadnt have checked all this myself i would still be driving the car around unaware i was uninsured until either my road tax was due or my old policy expired..
spent half a day trying to get hold of their head office to put formal complaint in , managed to get hold of some complaints dept after a couple of hours ,,, result was they knocked £4.13 off my payment of £94.13 . this was after i told them i hadnt drove my car over the weekend as this was when i found out and they were shut and i had to take the day off work on the monday to sort this out.
in a nutshell do not bother with this company, i certainly wont use them again as this was my first time.
being insured for a motor vehicle and not being insured for a motor vehicle is the difference between maybe gettting points on your licence for a fault accident where someone is killed if insured ,and a lengthy prison sentence if not insured.
this unbeknown risk was taken by me unknowingly as echoice rsa didnt contact me .
my apology was the £4.13 deduction on the £94.13 they finally took ,,, wow thanks echoice , wont be using you again0
