To register for your free gift subscription a valid credit or debit card is needed

As part of the prize is a subscription to love film they only need your card details if you win, this is because if you failed to return a disk etc Lovefilm would need to charge you for it...

The way i read it is the promotor is paying for everything even the subscription but it is up to you whether you register for the subscription IF you win (at this point you would need to give card details) as Love film would need to cover themselves against any losses in case the winner runs away with the dvd's

Hope ive got that right and that clarifies it for anyone
