Rattling Sound On Washing Machine?

I've got a under a year Bosch Washing machine and a few times during the cycle makes a rattling sound like there's coins or a belt rattling inside it. Once all washing is taken out there is nothing inside.
Any ideas?

This might sound daft but have you got anything resting against it. I thought mine was breaking once it sounded like an aeroplane taking off until I realised my dustpan and brush were resting on the side of it and when it span they really rattled against it. :rotfl:0

Thanks for your reply. No don't think so. It is not during the whole cycle or the whole fast spin for that matter.
About 3-4 times during a cycle a metal on metal type sound.0 -
Silly question, have you checked the machine is level, I had a problem with mine sounding like it was drilling thru the wall and checked to make sure it was level and found one of the 'legs' wasn't as far down as the others.Proud to be me, proud to be who I am!!0

I have a similar problem with my Bosch machine. At a certain point in the cycle it sounds like some sort of rattling/scratching sound. Have checked inside the drum and nothing visible. Wondered if something had somehow got behind the seal.0

This happened to me a few weeks ago. 2 days later my DD1 complained that the wire in her bra was missing. You have guessed it that is what the noise was. I was surprised to find it again after another couple of washes. Make sure they are all washed by hand now. When life gives you a hundred reasons to cry, show life that you have a thousand reasons to smile0

Yep, bra wire usually is the culprit. Generally works its way out again, so check the seal after every wash and hopefully you'll get it. Best to machine-wash underwired bras inside a pillowcase tied at the top, so that any rogue wires are caught.0

Just thought I would post a update.
I had my suspicions that money may have fallen out and decided to clean out the drain pump (Square opening at the bottom of the washing machine) After draining the water rout I out a 5p in with the pump. Had no problems since.0
