Hi. I have £7800 on a Capital One credit card 0% which is due to run out soon. I was thinking about applying for a M&S credit card to transfer some or all of this to the 3.9% LOB. I am asking if anybody has recently appiled for this and wether the credit limits are generally high. I have no other loans ect but I do have £2000 with Lloys LOB 5.9% and virgin £850 again o% but due to run our this month. Not sure wether I should be asking here or on the credit card forum so feel free to move if nes. Thanks again for your wonderful help. I would not have been in this dilema if it wasn't for this site I would have happily been paying 15%-19% interest:beer:

I applied for one recently expecting to be rejected, but they accepted me and gave me a £5000 limit on the 0% offer...I was in shock! I was relieved because I was able to put all the debt onto the one card at 0% though.

justmumcookcleanertaxi,
I've just recieved my M&S &MORE card. Wanted to transfer £2900 from my Egg Card so was well happy when I got £5000 credit limit. I also have a £8000 loan, so was surprised to get the limit.
You have to pay a minimum 3% of your balance each month, but then you'll pay it off faster.
There's a really good thread about the card's limits on the CC forum. From what I can gather M&S money can give you a slightly higher credit limit if you need it and don't get it to start with.
Hope this helps.Lightbulb moment Sept 06.0 -
