Pre order for 6th december. Doesn't look like a misprice as some other vendors had them around the £125 mark.

Just remember this card is massive, so forget it if you have an matx case!

Nice find! Odd release date, would expect the newer 6850's to have that date? Id' been considering a 6850 but it seems they are updates for the 6830 and the 5850 are actually faster by around 10% while being significantly cheaper; strange.

On one hand nice to see I could be paying quite a bit less than expected for this upgrade, on the other slightly irritating to be using old tech...

Sounds good but I, like many other people think it's a pricing error and won't be honoured if ordered. All other online stores are asking >£200 for the same card. So the real price was probably meant to be £215 with a £249 RRP. I bet at that price it is below cost so they could not possibly honour it.

Hm I have the 4890 which at the moment is fine. Don't have any games which I can set to highest possible settings.

Don't think its worth upgrading it given my current card is fine for everything.

I don't think its a pricing error (but with play, who knows!) CCL had them at £125 the other day and sold out in a few hours.
