Lost Photos On IPhone 4

Options
Hi

I am looking for some help please

I recently sync my brothers phone to my itunes library and it has lost all his photos.

I just realised that the last sync and backup that I had on the itunes was in sept and this was his old iphone.

I was hoping there was a way to retrieve these photos and would appreciate any help anyone can give me.

Many thanks

I don't think it's going to help you much, but there is a thread here on the an Apple forum with a discussion on it. There seems to be quite a few people with the same problem.
As you say, it looks like it 'should' create a backup before doing a sync, but ....

Can you see the phone in windows if its connected via USB mass storage .
If so Recuva or similar recovery program may find the files .
