In layman user terms, what does 10GB mean as a monthly download limit?

10GB a month is like feeding yourself for £20 a week.
Some people claim to be happy with mobile internet -usually 3GB/month.
Our house uses over 200GB/month and hardly watch streamed TV as it spends most of it's time buffering.

10gb should be adequate if what you say turns out to be accurate, I'd just be careful of what happens if she does go over, and availability of upgrade options.

10GB is like feeding yourself for £20 a week ONLY in a world where eating is optional and some people are perfectly happy to eat a single dry slice of bread each day, while others want to eat a dozen kilos of meat... People's nutritional needs are very similar, their Internet usage patterns are not.

10GB will be fine if you only have one PC, don't watch video streams, don't download/upload large files, and don't spend all day online.
