Help with HTML please

Hi
I want to improve my eBay listings by using one of the HTML designers show in this forum.
What I am wondering is, having completed the listing how do I transfer it to eBay - is it just a case of cut and paste?
Also if I include a pic in my design do I then have to pay for listing design if the pic is included at the top of the HTML?
if these questions are not very clear, I apologise. Its cos I don't know what I am doing!

Any help would be most appreciated.

If you host your pics on site like photobucket, you just paste the link for that pic into the HTML view for your listing. Preview before listing obviously! Ebay will not charge for this.

That's the only thing close to html I know a thing about, so good luck with the rest :)

  • It is basically a case of cut and paste, just remember that you don't need anything like <html> or <head>,<body> just the formatting and table tags.

I'm no expert but when i go into HTML mode the only things i do is use auctionpix.co.uk to host my pics, i upload the code it gives after uploading and paste that into the description section. I also know that for ever paragraph you want to start it <P> then you start you paragraph, I dont use too much more i'm a great believer that if you keep it simple it looks a lot better. You can always preview your auction before submitting it, took me a few goes but its a handy little tool. I;m sure someone will be along shortly to explain in more detail.
