Have just telephoned Asda Entertainment about the non delivery of the prizes and they said that they will call me back this afternoon to let me know what is happening

I have just come of the phone again having insisted on speaking to someone involved with sending the competitions prizes out

they said that there has been a problem with the collation of prizes for which they apologise but that they are now getting on top of the problem and they expect to be sending the prizes out within the next 2 weeks or the end of this month

fingers crossed that we get our prizes soon!

i won hardcase backpack supposeldy but am yet to receive this have fired off three e-mails to asda over the last two weeks (thought i'd give them a chance to deliver after Christmas with the bad weather and delivery delay) but am yet to receive any replies to these either - so much for priding themselves on good customer service they got our details to claim our prizes so they should of sent messages apologising for any delays.

Three emails and two telephone calls from me before I got any response!

There customer relations is a shambles as is the way that the owning company treats it's workers

Used to like Asda until they where taken over by the american company Wal-mart once saw a documentary on them and how they try to stop there workers from joining trade unions and pay most of there workers in the states the bare minimum wage and ask them to work overtime without any extra pay and if they refuse they go out of there way to make life difficult for them so that they leave

being an ex shop steward I have made it my policy to never to give them my custom again!

however I don't mind taking something off them if I win a competition

Sorry to bump a old thread but just wanted to say I'm in the same boat, somehow I've missed this thread till today, but the same story, got the e-mail needing my details quickly, although I never got a e-mail before that! I've just sent them a 3rd e-mail as the 2 previous never got replies, but good to see other MSEers have jumped on them as well, i'll keep a eye on this thread now I know it's here.

just to let you all know that i received the Inflatable guitar in the post yesterday, however it was a Camp Rock one and not 'Hannah Montana' so everyone else may start getting their prizes soon!!!!:)

I was mean't to win a DVD according to the first e-mail I got from them, but today I got a letter telling me I was suppose to win £10 (?) but due to "unforeseen supply issues" they've sent me a gift card instead. Someone got in a muddle it seems, but I'm not moaning as I'd prefer the gift card anyway, hopefully others will get yours too soon.
