Help with faulty Dell laptop and warranty advice

    :mad: this is getting rediculas, I'm beyond fed up with Dell and their lack of care for their customers.

    I Finally managed to get the laptop taken away to be repaired, and the actual time it was away was fine.
    They replaced
    The Webcam cable
    The Palm Rest
    The LCD

    On the plus side, the Webcam seems to be working fine now.

    The touchpad is as useless as ever and the New LCD is not quite right, it seems to have vertical lines all the was across it, this is clearly visible on blue and orange colouration on the screen where it appears broken up by tiny, lighter coloured or white lines.

    I filled in a technical support request form on their website on Fri 14th, because I know trying to explain the LCD problem over the phone will be a nightmare.

    I have not recieved a reply.

    On Wed 19th I emailed them to complain using uki_customer_complaints@dell.com, because I'm just really not happy, I don't like the way they've handled the complaint from the start, some of the software troubleshooting I was unhappy with, particularly the part where they made me reinstall the OS and delete the recovery partition, I think this was totally unnecessay and will only make life harder for me in the future. The time it has taken is beginning to be rediculas ( I first contacted them on the 30th of Dec). The fact they haven't actually managed to repair the laptop, and/or have used unsatisfactory parts and the fact I haven't had a response to my last request for support.

    As of yet I haven't had a reply to that email either.

    I'm kind of at a loss as of what to do now, so any suggestions are appreciated. Apart from the obvious solution of not buying from Dell, because :rotfl:I've kinda done that already.
