Selling outside of eBay

Hi all,

I listed my old mobile phone on ebay last night and a short while ago I received the email below. I'm not going to take him up on his offer but it certainly sounds like a scam what do you guys thinks???

    The word 'Nigeria' is the most obvious giveaway.

    My first ever Ebay Challenge. So far after fees etc for 2007 - £635.72 :T
  • plus if someone reported you or ebay found out, your account would be closed - not allowed to sell/buy outside of ebay using info found on the site.

    Looks like a hacked account as only 2 feedback since 1999.
    It's BOUGHT (to Buy), not BROUGHT (to bring) AND you cannot be frauded, only DEfrauded.

    Please do not buy animals from a pet store. Visit your local sanctuary or centre and give a good home to an unloved or abandoned animal.

    Well it makes a change from the usual money order scams but PayPal have been known to reverse payments months after they have been made leaving the seller with no money and no item.

    If it 'seems' to good to be true...

    Also seller now has a negative feedback which says it all
