Homeserve - They must think we're stupid!

Just had our renewal quote for our gas / electricity emergency repair cover.
It had gone up by 33% from £216 to £292!
I telephoned to cancel and they offered to reduce it to £35 for the whole year!!!!
I refused and told them I wouldn't deal with such an unethical company ever again.
I might have cut off my nose to spite my face but at least I'm sitting here smug.:A
Oh the fact that I won an ombudsman case against them 2 years ago for incompetant workmanship also makes me smile!:D
Anyone got any thoughts on an alternative?
