HALIFAX what a joke!!!

Well, after much disagreeal on the bank charges they imposed on my account (Please see Link) I agreed to pay back £100 per month, which was sorted for the end of every month. Unfortunately my local branch closed down but in a letter I got a few months ago I could pay into my local post office which to me would be easier! I got to the Post office with money and bank details the post master told me that I would need a paying in book, So I went back home and got straight on to Credit collections asking for a book, The woman kept trying to say that all I need is my bank details to pay money in! Now to me unless a ghost was behind the counter the post master defiantly said "You need a paying in book" She eventually got on to customer services then **SUCSESS** Yes you do need a paying in book, The paying in book will be with you within 2 weeks. So then the matter of the monthly payment came to head - now the options where to take a payment off a friend/partners debit-credit card or do I have another bank account which I could pay from, the answer to these robbing thieves was a definite No! I would never give them details for either of the options as any trust I had in the Halifax Bank has now defiantly gone! Instead I now have to make a 3/4 hour journey to the next nearest branch which has ruined my weekend Not Happy
And yes I did ask to re-arrange the payment date for when the book arrives but they declined.
