PPI pension plan with zurich HELP

I've recently phoned up zurich who i've got a pension plan and also life insurance with to see exactly how much im paying to each policy. I was then informed that im also paying ppi which i was unaware of. As i have just had an operation i was thrilled, so decided to put a claim in. Zurich informed me that i needed to be off work for 3 months before i could claim which is absolutely a waste of time for me, as being self-employed im looking to return to work asap {probably about 3 months!}
Can anybody help me out with any advice please
Thanks

Is it PPI, PHI (permanent health insurance or waiver of contribution/premium?Can anybody help me out with any advice please
My guess is that its not waiver of premium on the pension as that typically has 6 months deferment (although 3 is possible). Its unlikely to be PPI as that is typically 1 or 2 months. PHI is the most likely with a deferment of 3 months.
