How to transfer photo's from laptop to iphone 4

we have slight problem, bought an iphone4 yesterdaym downloaded itunes, managed to transfer all the music but how do i transfer pictures???
when i plug in the phone to the laptop itunes opens up but there's no photo tab under the device on the left hand side (i've read thats what should come up)....
do i need to download an older version than the itunes 10?

Open Itunes, plug the iphone in, click on the iphone icon on left when it recognises the iphone. One of the tabs along the top will will be for photo's and it asks where to sync from. Choose the folder with your photo's in.0
