House of Fraser card / Santander

I made my usual monthly payment this month using my internet banking "pay bills" function. It has just been returned to my bank by Santander. It seems that Santander have changed the payment sort code and account number this month for receiving payments and any payments to the old details are being returned. My bankhas has hundreds of returned payments this month.
So check the payment details on your statement before you pay any House of Fraser accounts.
i had a long argument on teh phone to India about this yesterday as Santander are acknowledging a problem with direct debit payments, but not with other methods. I was told by their call centre that they have NOT changed sort code and account details, which is blantantly untrue.
Should also add that my bank checked the new sort code for me and it doesn't accept fast payments, so another 5 working days to wait.
