UPVC Window Service recommendation

Hello all,
Would anybody be able to recommend a UPVC window repair/service company in the east London/Essex area? I've had 2 or 3 of the large window companies round to quote for a replacement window who seamed really interested to show me a chunk of window frame and then never got back to me with prices.
The only trouble with the window is a handle needs replacing, rubber seals looked at and maybe get some new keys supplied for the locks.
It doesn't really need replacing so I'd rather deal with someone who's been recommended and can give the window a service than give the big companies my business as they clearly don't want it.
Cheers!

It's unlikely a big company would be interested as there's gonna only be a small margin. Far better for them if you buy a completely new window.
Have you tried your local, smaller, perhaps family run firms? I can't recommend anyone as I live miles away.0 -
Well I was trying to buy a whole window off the larger companies but they were too lazy or maybe I wasn't vulnerable enough for them to quote me!
Im quite happy to use a small company but only with a recommendation. I used a local plumber recently to replace 3 leaky radiator valves and after he'd gone he left 3 leaky radiator valves... then 1 burst and I had to call him back to fix that. Then I ended up doing it myself properly.0 -
You can buy replacement handles from https://www.handlestore.com, I used them recently and got very quick service. Either fit yourself (very simple), or get a handyman to do it. Keys come supplied with the new handles. No free lunch, and no free laptop

I was looking at that site earlier today as it happens! I might go ahead and do it myself as you suggest...
On another note the windows could also do with a good clean, is there anything wrong with steam cleaning around the seals?0
