Hi,
I have a Canon Powershot A700 and I need to buy a memeory card as the one it comes with is poor.
The owner guide says I need a Super high-speed SDC-512MSH memory card, which means nothing to me. Doubtless I could take it down to Jessops and they'd sell me the right thing, but I do want to get best value.
PLease point me in the right direction! Pictures or recommended links would be helpful!

Here's an example; http://www.picstop.co.uk/Secure-Digital-SD/SanDisk-Ultra-II-Secure-Digital-(SD)-Card-512MB is high quality or this; http://www.picstop.co.uk/Secure-Digital-SD/Order_1/Secure-Digital-SD/Kingston-50x-Elite-Pro-Hi-Speed-Secure-Digital-(SD)-Card---512MB is not too bad.
I recommend that you buy a 1GB card; http://www.picstop.co.uk/Secure-Digital-SD/Order_1/Secure-Digital-SD/SanDisk-Ultra-II-Secure-Digital-(SD)-Card-1GB or http://www.picstop.co.uk/Secure-Digital-SD/Order_1/Secure-Digital-SD/Kingston-50x-Elite-Pro-Hi-Speed-Secure-Digital-(SD)-Card---1GB
I prefer Sandisk for reliability.0 -
Brilliant!
I will go for the 1GB as I assume I will get more pictures out of it? Would you recommend I buy from the site you have linked to, please?Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Yes, but I think they are out of stock of the Sandisk at the moment. The larger card will allow you to capture video too.
You can try Amazon; http://www.amazon.co.uk/SanDisk-ULTRA-1GB-Memory-Card/dp/B0007QU7KU
I've had failures with the Kingstons, so I can't wholeheartedly recommend them.0
