Breakfast politic thing this morning has shadow minister on. Next weeks has another shadown minister on.
Why are the politicians running the place not being given equal airtime?
Probably because the LibDems have finally realised they are being used as the scapegoats to break all the uncomfortable and bad news, whilst all Cameron and Co go around campaigning for the World Cup etc.0 -

There's a trend now I noticed for interviewers to say "Oh you can't keep blaming the last lot"
... Sadly until the debt is all cleared away I think we should.
And nu-nu-labour are just waffling about trying to think of new policies...0 -
I doubt lending will ever be 100% and can see 95% being rare.
The banks are being told to hold higher reserves, so that should mean they are going to have to be risk adverse and that will affect all types of lending.
I was talking to a retired man recently about mortgages and he was saying that when he and his wife wanted a mortgage they had to save for 12 months the value of the mortgage payment. Miss a month and the year started again!
That meant they had lived for a whole year without the money they needed to pay out and they had all that money to pay fees and buy furniture when they did get their first house. I'd love to see this make a come back.0
