Hi
I am a bit confused I have recieved a demand for an overpayment of tax credits for last year when there was a change in my circumstances (single to joint claim).
I informed them of the change within a month of it occuring so is it right I am liable for an overpayment?
Thanks

Don't take their word for it! They might want you to prove you informed them (this is where I had my trouble) but you can request copies of all their doumentation if you need to.TRYING VERY HARD TO START SAVING!
