D-i-l wants a small colour printer for her xmas pressie- they have a small flat and the computer table is stuck in their one bedroom - so not a lot of space. I think she would like an all in one with printer scanner and copier
Can anyone recommend a decent one please, economical price?

I got the C4780 photosmart recently for the wireless capability(got it for £49 from argos as they had mistakenly put the lower spec printers sticker on the box in the warehouse) and find it fine for printing... always change the print quality to draft when you dont need mega quality print-outs, colour or b&w.
The two above are the two lower priced HP ones.
Not sure how economic they are compared to others though, but you can get genuine inks for the C4780 for £7-£10 per cartridge off ebay etc if you keep a look out.
Ive heard the Kodak printers are the cheapest and best ink-wise (more pages per cart) but think they are a bit more expensive to buy the printer.. Depends how much your going to use the printer though I suppose!
FYI: Look around for different prices, just linked to Argos as thats where I got mine.
Hope this helps?! Someone may have better advice but thats mine!

Many thanks
Id actually just bought one on amazon before I saw your posting, but as it happens its the same as the first argos one you have given above (albeit with a different ref) £33.90 and free delivery. Bargain. When I think how we paid £200 for our one function printer when we first got a computer 15 years ago!
Thanks for kindly helping out0
