Counting the days until payday! Though this month it'll all be gobbled up on rent... OH hasn't had much work this month so we'll have to do some juggling. Fighting urge to use credit card for toothpaste. Beginning to think swopping from drinking coffee at work (free) to drinking herbal tea (healthy and no added sugar) was a stupid idea in current financial situation. Do they sell herbal tea in Lidl or Aldi? gaaaah.

    Yes :D

My DH has been unemployed since the end of last month (previously he was a post grad student on the payroll) so I'm scared. He always planned to be out of work for 3 months at the end of this year, so it doesn't bother him as much. He's saved enough for his contribution to the household bills for about 4 or 5 months, but it still worries me. :o

hey folks, hoping for a no spend day, but can't leave my purse at home, stopping by the bank on the way to work to pay my cc bills and electric (not counted on the spending), other than that fingers crossed i can control myself, it'd be a first!

Feeling fed up already & it's only Monday!

I got up late & had to (?) spend £3 on breakfast on the way to work. I've got to find a way to stop doing this -I get up really early & find the extra 10 minutes needed for breakfast impossible some days. I could keep stuff at work but I have 90 min journey & am starving before I make it in to the office & there are so many temptations at every stage of the journey.

    Good luck rog2 for hearing.
