Does anyone know where I can find an ISO image for Windows Vista? I need to do a fresh install on my Grandad's laptop and would like to avoid installing all the junk that comes on his OEM disc. Those things are so annoying!

Whatever you do, don't download one from a filesharing website - there's no knowing what you'll get.
TBH though, just re-install it from the recovery discs and use Decrapifier to remove the garbage.0 -
I could post a link for the Vista ultimate recovery disk but not sure if its actually allowed on this site:beer:0

If your doing a fresh install i thought it wouldnt matter the make and model as all the disks are the same (for the software), just with different drivers on, and if his grandad already has it he should have the OEM cert on the bottom of the laptop to activate it:beer:0 -
Buy him Windows 7 for Christmas. It's what Vista should have been but failed so miserably to even come close.:)

May have to be activated by telephone as the key on the bottom of the laptop might not activate online.
Hence the reason for my question.0 -

Makes no difference. Install with key and activate via phone.0
