How do I make sure my NI contributions get paid so that I do not miss out on my pension now that my job seekers allowance has run out. I have been told that I need to carry on signing on at the job centre. The people at the job centre do not make it clear!

In a similar vein what happens when your Contribution Based ESA finishes after a year when the government introduce it in 2012; as when you're on CB ESA you receive NICs towards your state pension but you don't need to sign on to get CB ESA. So will you no longer receive any NICs when you loose your CB ESA after the one year and are not eligible for IB ESA?0

You will still be credit with NIC's when ESA(C) runs out.0
