Vinyl to MP3 Software Mac

Hi - we recently got a new turntable which allows us to convert our records directly to MP3 on to a USB stick. Unfortunately the software which came with it does not work on the Mac. We can play the MP3s on our MAc, and can split them on garageband, but does anyone know of suitable software which we could use to edit the MP3s.

The PC software was called trans music manager and can automatically split the tracks and then find the names. A google search has proved unhelpful so far

You could always try Audacity. Have a read of the following, see if it is for you.

I have not used it on Mac, I did try it on Linux a while back, but not in anger, so my knowledge of this runs out at this point....!
