My ex was a long distance driver. Does he have a TV in the cab? if not, maybe a small one of those. Camping stove (Mine always prefered to cook things himself)with small camping frying pan and saucepan. Really warm sleeping bag and bed socks were another request!

To be honest, this is why it is hard, his cab is better kitted out than my house, he has a 26" tv, mini oven, central heating ect.

Apparently OH said no to socks because thats all he used to buy him.

My hubby is a lorry driver - often away for weeks at a time so reading this thread with interest!

What about a new 24 volt kettle?....Tea/coffee/sugar/milk would always be handy.

Be-wise were selling heated blankets (plug into cigarette lighter) for use in cars/trucks reduced to £5

Robert Dyas are currently selling a fab little cooker reduced from £19:99 to £9:99 (hubby has bought 1 of these and loves it!)

Computer games/DVDs? On the freebie thread there are posts for free PC games - maybe download some of these onto a CD for him?

The little hand-heated pads that someone mentioned are good - I bought some for £1:50 in Lloyds chemist.

    Suduko/puzzle/crossword books?

    New woolly hat/baseball cap?

Snacky things to eat whilst on the road...crisps/snack-a-jacks/nuts/pretzels.

Cup-a-soups/pot noodles? (I can't stand them but hubby likes them!)

    New pillow?

    Books........

Those are all I can think of off the top of my head...will add more if I think of anything else!

Forgot to say...I got a new baseball cap for hubby by using the voucher for free P+P & £5 spend that was floating around on the discount thread. Not sure if it's still in use but may be worth a try - Cap reduced from £10 to £5 - picked it up free with no P+P !
