If he uses a pay go mobile maybe a top up voucher.
Those pad things you use to keep hand warm.
Decent socks, toastie type ones as a cab n a lorry can get a bit chilly, same with other similar types of clothing.
Flask/Thermos bag
Smellies you can use on the road like wipes, no rinse hand freshner/shampoos etc
Been a while but my ex was a long haul driver and those are the type of things he would ask for.One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200

Thanks, he does like character socks like the simpsons, he uses them for best bless him :rotfl:
A heat pad would be good if I could find one.

Try Hiking/Outdoors/Army stores shops, used to get most of the exs things from there. Inc the socks, heat pads etc.
Think most are sodium acetate or something inside. Could try googling heat pads/hand warmers or that. Like these http://www.salveo.co.uk/health/heat_in_a_click.asp?gclid=CPiS7an-jYgCFRtNEgodoFROHQ but maybe find some cheaper. Seen them in Boots before but couldn't find them on website when I looked tonight. One day I might be more organised...........

my oh is a driver, his fav gift a few years ago was a wok, lots of diff cooking sauces etc he was fed up with cafe food and is now a bit of a one wok chef genius.
he also likes pictures of the kids, we also made him a calendar with their piccies on. he plays lots of games (chess suduko type things)
failing that books, dvds etc..
my sis got him some really cheesy kids pillow cases and bedding for his lorry last year which amused him and keeps his lorry driver mates amused when they go in his lorry.
we also got him a mini car cleaning vacuum the type you plug into your lighter socket as he is really anal about keepin his lorry clean (shame hes not the same at home!)
hope that helps, happy shopping0 -
a wee mini hoover thing, a torch, lots of socks, gloves, soups, flasks, choccys, boiled sweets (wont melt in the heat of the cab) will get back to you if I have any more revelations!xxx0
