Hello,
My partner and I, have recently moved into a 3 bed terraced house. Luckily, the previous owner happens to be my mum so I know what her previous monthly energy bill/supplier was for this residency.
I have used all the comparison websites to find out the cheapest supplier would be, and most have come back with E.ON SaveOnline 4.
However, after looking directly on the E.ON website. I am now confused as to whether I would be better off going with the SaveOnline 4 or FixOnline 9!?
Can anyone please tell me what the difference is between these two tariffs?

If you have your consumption figures (or a good approximation) I've found Eon to be very good on the phone with explaining the deals
its a begger to work most of them out I agree, but I moved from the standard package (avoid with a BIG POLE) to FixOnline8 which worked out best for us but we are now tied to them until june 2011 so check if the deals you are looking at lock you too them
Oh and don't forget if you do go with the to register your tesco clubcard if you have one! so far I've had over 200 points from my bills and 50 points last month with my CC statement... all ads upDedicated wife and mother... and now financial controller lolIts a long road, but I will make it there in the end0 -

Thought Fixonline tariffs DIDN'T get Tesco points?? I certainly lost them when I switched from the old Saveonline tariff.:(0 -
Hi Natasha_180 - It's good that you have your Mum's billing records for this house, but if it is the case that Mum was the sole occupier before she moved, YOUR BILLS as a couple will be HIGHER.
Keep a monthly record of the meter readings so you can check just how much more you are useing, and be prepared to increase your D/Debit levels to keep pace0 -

FixOnline v3 (the one thats just about to end) did include Tesco points but from v4 they droppned them0 -
ohh I'm still getting my tesco points, + the 50 point voucher with my november vouchers from tesco.
another speed note on E-on watch them if you ever change your DD details! changed mine this week and bang payment jumped from £52 to £64!!! had to phone to get it back down and even then they'd only take it to £55. rather annoyed about that!Dedicated wife and mother... and now financial controller lolIts a long road, but I will make it there in the end0 -

Hi Natasha
Already some excellent advice on here. Thought I would just clear up a couple of things.
Fixonline 9 guarantees the unit prices and discount will not change before the product ends on 1 March 2012. Whereas, prices on Saveonline 4 are subject to change should our standard rates change before the product ends on 15 January 2012.
Tesco Clubcard points are not available on either tariff.
On a wider issue, deshepherd is spot on about the Tesco points on our Fixonline tariffs. They haven't been available from Fixonline 4 up to and including the latest version 9.
Similarly, whilst Tesco points were available on Saveonline versions 1 and 2; they are not offered on Saveonline versions 3 and 4.
Hope this clears up the points raised. Give me a shout if I've missed anything.
