Windows live mail problem.

Options
Is anybody having trouble with live mail? The issue being I have three identities which work with live mail, no problem, but I have set up another one for my wife but it keeps asking for the password which I have changed several times to get it to work. She can send e-mails so it seems to be set up right (e-mail through Virgin media), but she cannot receive as she can't get past the password stage!
I had to manually configure the set up as it didn't do it automatically, but as she can send e-mails I'm assuming it's set up correctly with the POP3 SMTP set up. I'm on XP pro.
Any replies appreciated.

    Check the following...

On the Account Properties > Servers tab > Incoming Mail Server, make sure the E-mail username is the full email address. For example, richard.branson@virginmedia.com.

I have just had a load of trouble trying to set up a new email address and having the same password issue as you. My old ntlworld.com accounts worked perfectly well without the username having to be the full address, but virginmedia.com accounts don't seem to like that.

Thanks for that, but still no joy when I try it. It looks like I have the same issues as you as the new account is a virgin media account whereas all the others are ntlworld.
