how much do npower take per week for debt on my meter

owe £47 of i believe to be emergency credit and standing charges..

took £6.35 off my 10 top up and 49p for e/c

is there a max they take?

    Yes, 70% of any top-up can be used to claw back missed payments/missed debt/missed standing charges.

    With a prepayment meter you still have to ensure over summer you top-up regularly to ensure you do not build-up arrears of such charges.
