Bought book that states "Not for Resale" - where do I stand with this?

    Whether or not you can/cannot sell-on is quite a grey area. Some companies such as TomTom sell you the right to use the item, but not to sell it on (in TomTom's case, you will be ok as long as you do not hook the device up to your computer and do an update. as soon as you do this, the device becomes linked to you and you alone. Anyone else trying to update it will find they can't even register it, let alone apply updates), others aren't quite as strict.
