    Hi Mark

    Good luck with your reclaiming and hopefully someone who have dealt with these will be able to confirm which one soon.

    If no-one have got back by tomorrow, the Financial ombudsman service (FOS) have a list of the correct addresses, they will tell you which one, and they have a free phone number as well, hope this is helpful for you, good luck with this.

  • I received a reply from them saying they will not deal with it till after the court case, is it worth contacting the FSA or wait till the case is heard in the court?

    Hi Mark

    Have the 8 weeks passed and did they actually mention the FOS on the letter at this stage?

    You could ring the FOS who may help you make up your mind on what you want to do from here, give them a ring on their free number here;
    http://www.financial-ombudsman.org.uk/contact/index.html

    However, the case starts I believe from the 25 Jan, not sure how long it will take to resolve though.

    Please keep us posted, and good luck.

    Hiya

    They have confirmed it then.
    Its up to you now from here.
    Its difficult to say how long this will take and of course the FOS also have large volumes.

    The normal timescale is 6 months from the final letter to complain to the FOS, but its up to you if you want to wait to see what happens about the case or go to the FOS.

    Hope this is resolved very soon, fingers crossed.;)

    Loans.co.uk are not under fos jurisdiction. I would imagine you will never get the money back

    At all????? I would say if Loans.co.uk sold insurance AFTER 14th Jan 2005 then they would definately have to have been under FOS jursidiction surely!!! Do they come under a different name perhaps at the FSA or have principals who you would complain to?
