Making digital calendar for parents but not going well..

Hello, I hope someone out there can help me. I am in my late 50s and making a calendar on-line for my parents for Christmas. I did it last year and they were really thrilled so have collected family photos of grandchildren and great grandchildren in.

I used the Aldi software last year and the result was excellent. So I have started doing the same this year and the family have emailed me their various photos from different cameras. However, when I drop and drag them into the appropriate page of the calendar on line, the images are blurred and the following message comes up: For better quality make the frame smaller or lower the level of zoom.

I've tried making the images smaller but it makes no difference to the look of them and I am so frustrated by it all, having spent hours now trying to get them to look nice. Ironically my own photos look fine. It can't be just one camera as they have come from different people. Does anyone have any advice please? Otherwise we are going to have two very disapointed elderly parents.

If the images are too small (dimensions/resolution) then they will be poor quality when printed.

Some email systems might resize photos for email if they're included in the message, you migth have to ask people to email you the individual files as attachments.

How big are the files on your disk - you need file sizes in the 100s of kBs.
