who knows?
There are many after market cables available for the PS2 allowing you to connect it to many different inputs on a TV if you have the correct cable and input then you can give it a try. The only tv/monitors I have experianced were early ones and they were crap, poor response rates caused bluring for TV and low resolution for PC use a waste of time.
the best bet would be to buy a TV with a VGA input at least it will be a decent TV and take the PS2 and you will be able to use it for the PC is proberbly a lowish resolution.0 -
Thanks for the reply Little John ....The one I am looking at has a response rate of 8msec ... the reason I want to know is we want to save space in the bedroom and get rid of the TV.. and of course keep the cost down! We want the monitor to be used for the PC, the playstation 2 and to play DVDsI have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes

if thats the one at 159 quid from advent in pcw then yes , might need another cable though but i doubt it.
These things are limited in the back to inputs , usually composite which the ps2 can do , svhs and vga.The ps2 will natively with the original cable do composite , and you can use the ps2 to watch dvds so thats that.0 -
It was that one yes.... only paid £139 with a store pick up though!! Have to wait till christmas to see if it is ok with the ps2!..but from what you say..it seems ok..thanksI have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes
