Ice on inside of windscreen

I had a similar problem with a car many years ago.
My solution was to close the vents on the dashboard when I parked the car overnight. The vent to the windsreen was obviously still open but it seemed to do the trick.something missing0 -
For a temporary solution to the ice, when my Maestro used to do this I would spray some de-icer onto a pad and wipe the inside of the screen with this.
I accepted that on an A-reg. I would be most miffed if a new car did it! Don't let them palm you off.0 -

Yep, cold air cannot hold onto water molecules the way that warm air can, colder air = less moisture.
It's all about humidity and dew points, but it's far too complex for me explain here.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

hey mate all i can suggest is keep giving the dealership grief and keep on at them until they sort the problem out!
if the car is only a year old and still under warranty then they need to fix it for you!
yeah water-entry problems are notoriously difficult to pin down but that's the dealership's problem not yours! they'll try and weasel out of it but keep on at them!0 -
Something like a moisture trap may also help reduce the residual moisture left in the car

You also might be best putting something over the windscreen, I notice you get more condensation when its on the windows. I think its unavoidable unless you put car in a garage, just leave extra time for screen to clear with engine on and demister but DONT leave car alone. Also dont drive with thick snow on the roof it will slide off and I believe it can be illegal
I use a plastic scraper for roof that is meant to drying a car works fine on just snow
Make sure you have high concentrate of window washer in washer for screen too0 -
I have the same problem.
To get rid of the extra moisture in the air leave a container of salt and rice on your dashboard overnight (more salt than rice). The salt takes moisture out of the air and the rice takes the moisture from the salt allowing the salt to take more moisture.0 -
I wonder if you could also use those crystals you can get for use for damp in a house to absorb the water in the air0
