Nationwide Cash Card + , ages to open ?

Hi all
I have opened a cash card plus account with Nationwide - but it seems to be taking ages for the card to arrive or any confirmation of the account opening
Ive checked online ( using the temp access) and it says account opened but ive not heard anything for 2 weeks ?
Anyone else opened one recently is this standard waiting times ? other banks seems alot faster - not giving me much confidence in their service so far ?? Maybe ill stick with lloyds
Any advice/ knowledge appreciated :j
