At least if you don't pay her back and she sends round the boys, you will have the NHS this time.0 -

But, back on topic, I don't think the OP will have any chance of getting a loan. What about asking the doctor if he is willing to accept installments - then, instead of paying your loan company, you pay the money direct to him.My posts are my own opinions based on my experiences and info gathered from sites such as this.

Sorry, one more thing for the OP to remember - when taking out a loan, the debt needs to be serviced according to the Ts&Cs regardless. If your sister takes out a loan for you and you can't meet the repayments, then SHE has to make them or risk having HER credit record trashed. My posts are my own opinions based on my experiences and info gathered from sites such as this.

I'd think it's worth a punt trying the medical insurance, other than an hour filling out forms what do you have to lose?Debt free 4th April 2007.
New house. Bigger mortgage. MFWB after I have my buffer cash in place.0 -

So are you saying that you did have travel insurance that would have covered the bills but haven't bothered to find out if you could claim yet?
If that's right then fill in the forms now. If it's wrong then tell us.loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.0 -
it might be worth contacting the insurers to explain the situation as they may still pay out, it depends on the small print but i'm surprised the docs let you out without payment as i know when we were abroad and had to use the hospital the person i was with was not allowed out of the hospital until the insurers had paid the bill! I think you will really struggle to get a loan as you need to be working. I would propose sending £200 a month if you can as a bit of something is better than a lot of nothing and if you can get a Christmas job to boost it up then you could pay the lot off asap.:T:T  :beer::beer: to the lil one

So I just recieved the e-mail from my doctor and the exact amount to pay back is £2,238.
At the end of the e-mail: 'When can I expect this money into my bank account?.
Good question...0
