Creative Muvo V200 mp3 problem

Hi All

My nephew has got a creative Muvo V200 mp3. We have just tried to download some cds and they download fine but when we tried to play the tracks the mp3 will not switch on. Have put new battery in but nothing happening. Has anyone had a similar problem or know what might be causing this.

when you said you've downloaded some cd's onto the muvo, wot exactly did you do pls? did you convert the files to mp3 or wma?

Copied own cds to media player (wma files) and pluged mp3 player into usb and copied through media player.

Files copied fine could see and play them through computer E drive.

This is a new mp3 player and hasnt been used before could it be faulty.
