Blockage in downpipe, what can I use

my down pipe from the guttering is blocked, from the guttering the downpipe comes down the side of the outside wall, however it bends in 2 places at the top.The blockage is somewhere at the top but i need something very flexable to put in the top hole that will bend as it follows the pipe down.
I cant use those drain rods as they are not flexable or a long piece of garden cane.
is there something out there that is flexable enough for the job in hand. Surely some one sells something specially for this kind of problem.
help please.

The above suggestion is good, but another idea is the springy wire thing you hold net curtains up with. Don't know if this may be even cheaper ( or you may, like me, be a junk hoarder and have an old piece kicking around in the shed ! )
It's also worth bearing in mind, assuming your guttering is the modern plastic type, it's very easy to actually remove it and give it a good old clean with a garden hose and old rags. The joints are just push-fit and are easy to dismantle and re-assemble. Possibly a touch of overkill, but very effective, particularly if it's really gunged up.0 -

Can that really get past the u-bend under the sink?

Yes , have had a cheap version for years , normally its quicker to take off the u bend but if the cupboard is full of the kitchen stuff, a walk to the garage is quicker.0

Use a garden hose. Preferably with water flowing through it.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0
