I have a friend who lives in the US, I want to go onto the American version of a few shops, everytime I try to do this it automatically bounces me to the UK shops, how can I stop this happening?

You would have to hide or disguise your computer's IP address which is possible. There are some programs available which will do this, check Google.

The other thing you need to think about is although some products look cheaper there, when they arrive in the UK, Customs may decide to slap an import duty on it or at the very least you will still be liable for VAT at 20% on the value based on the exchange rate of the day. In many cases that can make the price the same as that in the UK so you have to ask yourself is it worth it?

It would be better if your friend purchases the item for you, you agree an exchange rate and transfer the money direct to her US bank account and she then sends you the item as a "gift". There's no guarantee this will escape the attention of Customs but it may work.

Hollister and Abercrombie, she will take off the labels and gift them, so not worried about import ,......I have download a few and they did not work . I am so feb up x Please help me xc

There's no way in hell I'd do online shopping through a proxy server. You've no way of knowing if they're sniffing traffic.
