Is it a scheme like the one described here?

If so, it would seem that it is currently (but soon won't be) ok to technically pay less than NMW if there's a salary sacrifice in place as the expenses are not taxable but through a loophole do count towards NMW.
How this affects WTC, I don't know, but perhaps some other posters will.0 -

I also dont know about how it affects WTC!! We were told it would be stopping in October of this yr, but it seems the Government havent put a stop to it just yet!
