Can't get an address

Hi, I've won a purchase on a "Buy-It Now" auction, with payment by cheque.
However, for the last 10 days I've been repeatedly sending the seller requests for an invoice to tell me where to send the cheque, with no response.
However, the seller still appears to be using ebay and selling other items (new stuff) etc.
I'm a bit suspicious that they sold it too cheap and don't want to complete the transaction by telling me their address etc.
Any ideas? The only one I have is to wait until they are sending something expensive (on buy-it-now) then buy it and not send the cheque when they send me an invoice!! Two can play at that game.......

What does the invoice say in the address field when you go through checkout?

Thanks for the replies. I went through contact info, but no full address, only a fone number. Tried it a couple of times - seems to get diverted to a fax machine. So I'm going to send a fax......

It might not be a fax maching, he could have left his pc on and it may be a modem. Still, I hope he finally answers you.
If he ignores email, wont he ignore a fax too?0 -
i would just leave it - since he does not want to give you address, what makes you think his postage will be quicker.....Never do things tomorow when you can do them today.0

I agree with the above poster. If the seller is not responding to your emails, who's to say that they will ever post the item to you. Walk away before you end up losing money.-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--

Walk away... and report him for incomplete contact details. My TV is broken!

Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
Thanks for the replies; the seller has a feedback score of just about 2000, with over 99% positive feedback. However, I am getting cautious (although it'll be for less than 10 quid).
The fax seemed to go ok yesterday morning, though no answer as yet.
Plan B seems likely (i.e. you mess me around, i'll mess you around......)
