• Free Home Security for over 60s
If you are 60 or over, and your savings or assets (excluding your home) do not exceed £20,000, apply for AgeUK's HandyVan service. If they operate in your area, they come to your home and fit security devices (e.g. door chains, window locks), smoke alarms, carbon monoxide detectors and new light bulbs. They can even do small repairs around the house. And they do it free of charge. To apply you just email them.
