claiming dla for deaf child

Hi Wonder if anyone can help. In June my child was diagnosed with high & low level pitch deafness. Iwas advised that after 3months I would be able to claim dla for her. Is this correct. Any advise would be great. Many thanks

Until she get hits by a car, or when her class mates are way ahead of her - it took me ages to catch up (my deafness was less severe - but still not 100%).

How likely is she to get hit by a car? If her eyes work fine, then surely getting hit is very unlikely to happen? To get DLA, it has to be very likely to happen.
