That is a big extension. £40k+ I would reckon.
  • I had a quote to pull down a small extention and build a new one which was roughly 26' x 12', that quote came in at £25k. Just outside of Cambs.

any idea of what the finishes/construction/etc etc etc are - that question is equivilent to asking how long a piece of string is!
is it a kitchen extension or a living room/bedroom, all these things have serious impact on the price... you could spend 5k or 30k on a kitchen...

  • Hi its an extension from the kitchen diner for a play area with a sensory room for disabled kids and a new laundry room, small part of it is building over an existing extension. And adding a loo in a passageway that already exists between garage and house. Hope this makes sense. Would need plumbing for laundry room and loo, thanks ali

  • My single story extension to add a utility room, sitting room and additonal wet room/wc cost £20k. i guess once you add planning fees, building regs and decorating it totalled £25k.

  • Hi! We're buying a detatched on a corner plot and were thinking of doing a 2 storey side extension (2 rooms are smallish but location is great) it would be around 6.5m x 2m footprint and just making the 4 rooms bigger no bathrooms or expensive additions to the kitchen. Do you have any idea of a ballpark figure?
