Help - Driving me nuts

Please can someone help me...

I need to play on Championship Manager 2 for the pc..I got the game which is very addictive but cant get it to work on XP.. and its driving me nuts.

Keep getting a message

"error : can not find *LASERLOCK* CD_ROM in any drive"

Please anyone... :confused:

    Sounds like the "LASERLOCK" copy protection on the disk is not recognising the CD in the drive.
    CM2 is an old game (1999?) and so the copy protection included in the game may not work on XP.
    See HERE for information on the Laser lock protection

    The game is dated back to 1996... so its ancient!

    Get a copy of Virtual PC 2004 from Microsoft (it's free) and beg borrow or steal a copy of windows 98. Install that to the virtual PC and run the game under emulation?
