I cant find any info on the web.

Heres the site:
http://www.angel fire.com/socialistaonline/home.html
angel fire website - please remove space ^

theres a dress I want on there and its only £10 with free delivery.. a great deal but maybe too good to be true?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

  • Alarm bells are ringing!

Firstly they do not even own their own domain name (highly suspicious me thinks). Plus the title of their site "socialista.com" is a domain they do not own (seriously dubious!). Furthermore there are no contact telephone numbers on their "contact us" page.

    Thats exactly what I saw!
but £10 for a £65 is too good to be true I guess :(

What exactly could go wrong? Could I just lose £10? or more?

I also noticed that their head office is the same as Lipsys head office. So Ive contacted Lipsy on their facebook page to see if they know anything about them!

    THIS IS A SCAM!!!

    BEWARE..........BEWARE.............BEWARE

My wife got linked this website from a friend on facebook (who also got scammed) and i was nice enough to buy her (not me) a dress for a tenner. I put in all my details but funny enough i didnt get the confirmation email. So the next day i did a bit of digging and found this forum and reported it to my bank.

Low and behold i have had 4 seperate transactions taken from my account totaling £515.98p

Now the link doesnt exist and some f**ker has got all my details.

If you fall into this catagory of unfortunate individuals then you MUST CANCEL YOUR CARD IMMEDIATELY AND PHONE YOUR BANK!!!!!!

On the off chance that the lowlife who actually created the site and is scamming ppl comes across this forum n reads our comments for a laugh then i have this to say.........
Nice try to55er but i'm protected against FRAUD n have all my money reimbursed. However seeing as you were STUPID enough to order stuff online n have it delivered to your address i hope when u rush to the door 2 take possession of your ill obtained goods you get the Police in your face instead!!! Say hi 2 them from me!
