Grrr Primark Customer Service!!!

Went into Primark today, with a pair of boys pj's and 3 boys t-shirts all of which have gone out of shape in the wash, each time the hems start to squiff!! Always the boy's t-shirts that do it...anyway have taken items back many times before with and without receipt this time the manager decided without a receipt they wouldn't be!!
Not having that at all - it's ridiculous different managers in the same store change the policy!
Does anyone have an email address or phone number for their head office?

What are you going to complain about?

If you've taken items back so many times, maybe it's time to start shopping somewhere else.
Policy probably is that a receipt is required. Why not just be grateful for all the times they did you a favour? It's pretty ridiculous to expect a return without a receipt; every single person on this board has been through that, and probably they learned the lesson to always keep the receipt.
Here's the policy from their website:
Our refund and exchange policies are displayed in all of our stores at the customer services desk. A full refund or exchange will be offered to all customers in possession of a valid receipt, provided the merchandise is returned unworn or unused, with the original tags still attached, within 28 days from date of purchase.Hope over Fear. #VoteYes0 -
A lot of retailers who previously gave out credit notes or refund cards without a receipt are now clamping down on this. Next started it last month too. Guess the moral is - keep your receipts.0

Whoa...stepped on a landmine I see.
Having spoken to Trading Standards from what I understand is that they must offer an exchange - as it is clearly a Primark branded product. The item is even still out on the floor!
I do usually keep all receipts...LO was bought these t-shirts by a relative up north.
Thanks for the sympathy and advice lol... my advice play tough in future I don't take retail bs! Fact is I complained about Primark before to their HO (was so !!!!ied off I wrote to them) and received a £25 voucher plus a sorry for the service you received it shouldn't have happened about the exact same scenario!0 -

That's not proof that you have purchased it though is it? That's why a receipt is needed.
